Craighall at a glance

At First Glance

Craighall and Craighall Park are two of Johannesburg's older upmarket suburbs in the north of Johannesburg, situated west of the central business district of Sandton on the busy Jan Smuts Avenue arterial route. Many of the original homes were built on large plots of land and are ingrained with a rich history and stunning architecture which has stood the test of time. Both areas are green and leafy with arguably some of the most beautiful gardens in Johannesburg.

These days, whilst some of these expansive free-standing homes still remain, development of sectional-title complexes and townhouses has increased and "older" apartments are now especially in demand as fixer-uppers.

Schooling

Craighall has a rich selection of school and education options for families living in and around the Craighall area including: St Teresa's Primary and High Schools (https://stteresas.co.za/),  Hyde Park High School (http://hydepark.gp.school.za/), Craighall Primary School (https://www.craighallprimary.co.za/), and Craiglands Remedial School (https://craiglandsremedialschool.co.za/).
