  • An evergreen shrub which usually blooms with tiny, delicate blue flowers, however, there are variations with pink or white flowers available on the market.
  • Rosemary has been studied for its health benefits and has been said to help with muscle pain, boost the immune system, help with circulation, promote hair growth, aid in stroke recovery, and help in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease.
  • Rosemary is a source of antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, iron, calcium, and vitamin B-6.
  • A rosemary tea is said to help with memory retention and aid in studying.
  • Rosemary was believed to help protect a property and its inhabitants for negative energies and was therefore often planted in driveways and by gates.
  • The popular shrub grows best in a loamy, sandy soil which drains well to help prevent root rot.
  • Water weekly if grown in the ground or twice a week if grown in a container.
  • Like with most herbs, rosemary loves sunlight. Place in full sun or an area where it will receive 8 hours of light.
  • Trim your rosemary plant once it begins to flower to prevent woody stems.
  • Rosemary is a bee friendly pollinator plant.
